Customer Reviews
Consistently good bikes
This was my third Velotric bike; I bought a Discover 2 this time. Like my previous Nomad 1, it arrived well-packed and mostly assembled. The quality has been consistent across all my orders, and I appreciate that. They've always delivered on time.
Detailed thoughts on the Summit 1
I ordered the Summit 1 during a spring sale. The ordering process online was straightforward, and I used Klarna for financing, which was a smooth experience. Delivery took 8 days to reach my address in Oregon. The bike arrived in a large box, well-protected with foam and zip ties. Assembly was mostly attaching the front wheel, handlebars, and pedals, which took me about 45 minutes with the included tools. The UL Certified Battery was a big plus for peace of mind. I had a question about adjusting the hydraulic disc brakes, and customer support via email replied within 24 hours with a helpful video link. The bike itself rides great, very powerful motor for hills. The Suspension Seatpost made a big difference on rougher paths.
My new Discover 1 Plus
So I got the Discover 1 Plus last month. It's been pretty fun! Putting it together wasn't too bad, just followed the instructions. Took about a week for it to show up after I ordered it, which was fine. I've been riding it to work and it's super easy. Definitely happy with it.
Discover 2 High-Step review
Got the Discover 2 High-Step recently. The bike itself is solid and performs as advertised; the motor is strong, and the battery life has been good for my daily commute. Shipping was free, which was a nice bonus, but it did take a full 9 days for the bike to arrive after I placed the order. The packaging was okay, but one of the fender mounts was slightly bent. I was able to straighten it out myself, so didn't need to contact support. Overall, a good bike for the price, but shipping could be a bit quicker.
Good deal on Nomad 1
I was looking for a new ebike and found the Nomad 1. The price was competitive, and I got a first-order discount which made it even better. Felt like a solid purchase for the money. Shipping was free too.

Thinking about getting a Discover 1 Plus. How long does shipping usually take to like, Miami?
Thinking about a Velotric Summit 1, but also looking at Aventon. Anyone have experience with both or can compare?
What's the return process like if I get a Discover 2 and it's not quite what I expected?
Are these bikes legit or like, some cheap knockoff? Seeing some good deals but wanna make sure.
